What is it?

Miller Samuel has created MillerPort™ to enable the delivery of appraisal reports and other related documents in the PDF™ file format beyond the use of standard email attachments. Clients who are concerned about sending appraisal reports through public email systems or the delivery of reports that are too large to be accepted by certain email systems are the most likely users of MillerPort™.

Compressed and encrypted PDF™ formatted files

Each appraisal report is converted to a PDF™ format and then compressed and encrypted. The compression software reduces bloated files for easier delivery without reducing the quality of viewing or printing. The file can be viewed without a password but it is encrypted so that it can not be modified in any way by any party.

How it works

Clients are provided with a private and secure area accessible with their own user name and password. When the report is ready for delivery, Miller Samuel uploads the pdf report to this secure area. An e-mail notification is automatically sent out to the client that contains a url link. Once the link is selected, the client is prompted for their user name and password and the download of the pdf file automatically begins.

Managing your private and secure area

Each client has their own private and secure area to manage their reports. The reports remain in this area for 180 days. They can be deleted, sent to new parties or resent to the original parties.
