Lesson Charges
We know that teachers handle billing differently. Some teachers like to charge only for lessons their students actually attend. Other teachers charge a flat rate regardless of how many lessons have been taught. However you like to charge your students, Music Teacher's Helper makes charging for lessons simple! It's so customizable that you can even charge each student a different amount!
Charging a Flat Fee
Whether you charge your students a flat monthly fee, an annual tuition, or any other way, Music Teacher's Helper will simplify charging your students. For example, you can tell Music Teacher's Helper to automatically add a monthly lesson fee to your student's account on the day of the month that you choose, so you never have to worry about adding the fee yourself. Of course, you can still add, change or delete fees or charges at any time, so you're in complete control.
Charging Per Lesson
After you finish teaching a lesson, you can "reconcile" it, and specify whether the student attended, cancelled, or missed the lesson, and reschedule it if necessary. If you are charging per lesson, then reconciling the lesson will cause it to be charged to your student's account (Unless you issue a refund for it). You can also invoice for lessons in advance, if you want to charge for lessons a month at a time, for example.
When reconciling you can also leave notes about how the lesson went, write practice suggestions for your students for the week, and even leave private notes to yourself so you'll remember where to pick up next time.
